Jodi together with Revillas joins at Jolo's oath-taking.
Jodi Sta. Maria joined her boyfriend Jolo Revilla and his family throughout the actor's oath-taking as vice-governor of Cavite in a observance contacted with frenzy amidst the player' followers.
The "Be very cautious With My Heart" star made a shock appearance at the Santa Cruz Parish in Tanza, Cavite on Tuesday after noon, standing beside Revilla's family members as he took oath as the province's incoming vice-governor.
On stage, Sta. Maria connected her beau, his father Sen. Ramon "Bong" Revilla, Jr., his mother congresswoman Lani Mercado, and his son from a previous connection, Gabriel.
soon after the ceremony, the 25-year-old Revilla thanked his woman companion for her show of support throughout the campaign time span for the May elections, and her continued presence as he took oath.
"Siyempre nais kong magpasalamat sa kanya dahil sa walang sawang pagsuporta niya sa akin, sa amin ni administrator Jonvic (Remulla), dahil nakita ko na kahit alam natin na sobrang engaged siya, talagang pinipilit niya na sumama sa amin sa crusade. Kaya nagpapasalamat ako sa kanya," Revilla said.
answering to Revilla, the 31-year-old player said, "I know naman na... of course I'm actually happy for him because he worked hard for this one, and he warrants naman the position."
Sta. Maria, who has a son with Pampi Lacson, said last month that the annulment of her wedding ceremony with her previous colleague is "on the way."
But the actress, whose relationship with Revilla was confirmed late last year, rejected that her searching the annulment has something to do with presumed plans to wed the player.
"Like I've said before, I've never lost faith in love, but marriage is a distinct thing. It's a different story. Right now, hindi pa ako ready," she said at the time.
