FIGHT UPDATES: Our Filipino Drian Francisco had lost to Chris Avalos in a tough 10 round Unanimous Decision.
Francisco stands 5’5" with a solid build to proceed with his 65" come to. He’s an aggressive, orthodox fighter who was trained as a southpaw early on therefore snug in many modes in the ring. Being a speedy puncher from the Philippines will bring inescapable comparisons to Manny Pacquiao. Francisco is educated inside and out of the ring. Francisco said "Before I could go to fights or the gym, I had to go to school and study first. I graduated from college before I turned pro." Francisco is a guy who do his best just to win the fight. He is not only a boxer but an educated person outside the ring. He knows what he is doing inside the ring even though he knows how tough Avalos was with 2 defeats came via spit decision only. But for Drian, when he steps inside the ring, he gave everything he has in mind and in his body and will. Way to go to become one of the Filipino world boxing champion for Drian if he beats Chris tonight which is expected to be a very tough and tiny chances for Drian Francisco under his current trainer Justin Fortune who recently guided Drian on top of his boxing career outside the country.
In one of Drian's interview, he once mentioned "I’m an orthodox fighter" as he described himself. He added, "I can make myself in the ring what I want. I can do any style. Whatever style of my opponent, I can adjust in the ring. I think about the strategy of my opponent." In the last words about his opponent before coming in to fight in the ring , "He’s a tough opponent, tough Mexican fighter,". "He thinks he is better than me. He’s a tough opponent. He will be in good condition, assessed Francisco. "But I am prepared. I am in great condition. I will show I am superior in the fight on Friday. This will be an entertaining fight."
